1966 Morris 1100 Deluxe

I bought the car in Tasmania about 10 years ago from a nurse who used it to drive to work every day, it had been stored in an apple shed and not touched for a few years when I found it.

Its a ceramic green 4 speed 66 model (YMGS1 36368), with as far as I know, 66,000 original miles.

I’ve recently spent quite a bit of money on it and have receipts for the following:front & rear L/H suspension, new front brake pads, rear brake shoes, machined brake drums, new points & condenser, air filter, speedo cable.

Last time I drove it, it was in perfect working order, until the bypass hose for the water pump went. While it was out of action with this problem the suspension fluid on the left hand side settled after recent repairs and dropped a bit - just needs to be pumped up as the bags have just been replaced, although its not drivable at the moment, minimal repairs would get it back on the road.

The interior is good, the last owner had the vinyl replaced on the front seat, its a good match in colour but has a small tear down one of the seams. The car is rust free apart from some superficial spots from being parked outside. The rear passenger side door has always had a few bubbles in the paintwork, this has recently gotten a bit worse and turned into big flakes (see images), other than this the paintwork is quite good.

Comes with workshop manual and original books. $2350.
