1965 Morris 1100

DTH-038 was sold by Lancaster BMC in Sydney, in mid 1965 and was kept by the original owner until the early 70s.

It is not known what happened to it for the next 20 years, but in the mid 90s it was re-registered as TQQ-950.

In 1999 it was purchased by its current owner who - after looking at a couple of white 1100s - was instantly attracted to its bold colour. Despite being in need of considerable TLC its body was sound and its potential was obvious.

A process of systematic rejuvenation began and during this process the original registration number was reissued.

Ten years on, the interior has been re-trimmed, powerunit reconditioned, rust removed and its paintwork has been freshened.
